PUSHPA

She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something. /Rainbow Rowell/

Come for a gasp of fresh air. It is a call to arms for any woman who feels trapped in a cage that suppresses and limits her truest expression. In today’s patriarchal world there is a strong pull towards the Sacred Feminine. Some may call it their inner witchiness or inner priestess. But it’s the same – an ancient remembering of feminine sovereignty. The reclamation.

Performance group PUSHPA (LATVIA) consists of 6 female artists - Beatrise Anda Ozoliņa, Dārta Drava, Justīne Vaivode, Ketija Riteniece, Loreta Šperliņa-Priedīte, Undīne Trapenciere. PUSHPA was created in 2022 out of passion: common passion for performance art, strong desire to create, create together, together as women, feminine power, flower - PUSHPA. With their debut performance of the same name- PUSHPA, they've already taken part in the Performance art festival STARPTELPA 2022 in Riga (Latvia) and in Music and Art festival LABA DABA in Ratnieki (Latvia).
